The EU FVO Expert Panel Visited Guangdong Tongwei

October, 30, the EU FVO Expert Panel Willem Jan Riepma, and John Daniel Mcevoy visited Guangdong Tongwei in company with leadership from Ministry of Agriculture, China’s Control Institute of Veterinary Bioproducts and Pharmaceuticals, Department of Commerce, Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, as well as Guangdong local department officials. General Manager of Guangdong Tongwei Gong Wei made a presentation to the panel in six aspects including Tongwei Co., Ltd. Testing Center and the Third Party Certification Body Accreditation, ISO Quality Management System and Food Safety HACCP Control System, Information Traceability System, and Food Safety Management System. After the presentation, the panel experts also learned about How to prevent cross contamination, management procedures on antibiotics and other drugs, detection frequency of drug and pesticide residues in raw materials, as well as supervision and inspection by the local administrative departments. The experts were greatly impressed by Tongwei, and gave high credit to its outstanding performance and achievements in Food Management System and Food Safety.
