The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has released the preliminary list of the first batch of pilot platforms for key cultivation, aiming to accelerate breakthroughs in core technologies and industrial applications by fostering a group of technologically advanced and highly efficient pilot platforms. Among the 16 pilot test platforms that stood out in Sichuan Province, Tongwei's Advanced PV Device Pilot Test Platform was selected.

According to MIIT's Guidelines for the Construction of Pilot Test Platforms in the Manufacturing Industry (2024 Edition), these platforms primarily serve the needs of innovative development in the manufacturing industry. They integrate industrial resources, promote commercialization of technological achievements, and provide specialized services including R&D transformation and process optimization, playing a strategic supporting role in industrial technological innovation.

To further stabilize industrial economic growth and leverage key sectors' driving forces, MIIT encourages innovative development of manufacturing pilot platforms and accelerates their tiered cultivation. This initiative explicitly emphasizes strengthening pilot platform reserves, optimizing layout priorities and construction pathways, selecting exemplary platforms for key cultivation, and advancing qualified platforms to higher operational levels.

As one of the first pilot test platforms selected, Tongwei's Advanced PV Device Pilot Test Platform leverages the Tongwei Global Innovation R&D Center. It features industry-leading GW-scale heterojunction pilot production lines, the world's largest intelligent module reliability laboratory, and integrated R&D workshops. The platform focuses on pilot development of high-efficiency crystalline silicon cells, modules and cutting-edge technologies, covering core technical directions including TOPCon, HJT, THL, BC, perovskite/c-Si tandem solar cells and modules.

In the future, Tongwei will continue to synergize technological innovation and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, adhering to meticulous quality management and the pursuit of excellence. It will continuously enhance product quality, strengthen the corporate product quality responsibility, and promote the coordinated development of efficient operations and intelligent manufacturing to contribute further to Chengdu's acceleration in building a western pilot test center.
